GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE OF EXPERIENCE  

1786 EXPERIENCES 

 The present general conditions of sale are concluded between the brand " Experience Mont Blanc ", belonging to the company VOYAGE 1786, registered at the RCS of Chambéry under the number 811 083 633 ("1786 Experiences") and any person, acting in a personal capacity (hereafter the "Client") wishing to book a tourist activity for his own account or that of natural persons who have duly mandated him for this purpose (the "Participants").  

The fact of reserving a Service with 1786 Experiences implies the full and unreserved acceptance by the Client and the Participants of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of 1786 Experiences (hereinafter the "Terms and Conditions of Sale" or "T&Cs"). Any contrary condition opposed by the Client or the Participant, in particular any clause contrary to its own general conditions, is not opposable to 1786 Experiences, except for the express, written and prior acceptance of the latter.   

1786 Experiences reserves the right to modify the GTC at any time. The Conditions of Sale applicable to the reservation of a Service are those in force at the date of the firm reservation of the Service (hereafter " the Reservation "), materialized by the payment of the service.    

1786 Experiences guarantees the good organization and the good progress of the missions which are entrusted to it as an organizer of tourist activities. 

Services and management 

All the services are subject to climatic conditions and authorizations.  

 1786 Experiences also puts at its Client's disposal its knowledge of the territory and its professional partners. All the activities are supervised by professionals of animation and/or sports activities, in order to guarantee the maximum of safety and pleasure to the Participants.  

 The prices are given as an indication. They may be modified according to the number of Participants, the location and the choice of activities. 

Insurance 

1786 Experiences belongs to the company VOYAGE 1786, holder of a civil liability for all the activities it organizes. A complementary Assistance insurance can also be proposed. 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  1. Nature of services

By the present proposal, 1786 Experiences commits itself to assure under its entire responsibility the services carried out for its client and foreseen in the particular conditions of the contract.  

1786 Experiences commits itself to put in place all the means to recruit the personnel and to have the necessary material for the good success of the services.   

  1. Duration

The duration of the service is defined in the special conditions. 

  1. Price

The service is concluded and accepted by means of either an estimate signed by the customer or the online payment of the service. Any additional service will be invoiced in addition.   

  1. Order confirmation

Any confirmation of order by the signature of the estimate or the payment online involves the acceptance of the present general conditions, as well as the particular conditions detailed in the estimate or the reservation on line. 

  1. Cancellation due to the customer

Any service ordered from 1786 Experiences and having been the subject of a written reservation which cannot be completed due to the client, will be subject to the following cancellation fees: 

  • from reservation to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount 
  • from 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount 
  • from 14 days to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount 
  1. 1786 Experiences obligation

Reservations are considered "firm" upon receipt of the written request. However, the activity may be cancelled or postponed for reasons related to weather conditions or availability of the provider concerned. In this case, we commit ourselves to find an alternative as soon as possible (change of date/time, similar activity) or to proceed to a refund of the total amount of the service. 

  1. Payment

The service is reserved for the Customer only upon receipt of payment of the full amount requested.  

  1. Security

The Customer is aware that some of the services offered may be of an occasional nature. He/she therefore agrees to comply with the advice and instructions given by the supervising professionals.  

The Client is forbidden to take any personal initiative within the framework of the services that could jeopardize his safety, that of the other participants or that of the supervising professionals.  

It is up to the supervising professional to decide on any modification of the services for reasons of safety, weather and mountain conditions, form of the participants or their technical skills. A different itinerary or another mountain may be proposed, and any additional costs incurred will be charged to the Client.   

Non-compliance with the safety instructions, such as participation in a service that does not respect the imperatives, may justify the exclusion of the Client from the service. This exclusion, pronounced for safety reasons, will not give right to any refund of the price. 

  1. Insurance

The price of the service does not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that Clients have Search and Rescue insurance and Repatriation insurance valid for the service.  

The company VOYAGE 1786, owner of the brand 1786 Experiences, has subscribed to a contract covering the pecuniary consequences of its professional civil liability, established in accordance with articles R.211-35 to R.211-40 of the Tourism Code as modified by decree n°2015-1111 of 2 September 2015. The policy number is 60418952.
